Athens Half-Day Sightseeing tour

HALF DAY.

This half-day tour, gives the opportunity to appreciate the charm of Athens while capturing its strong contrasts. The guide, takes visitors on an engaging tour of the city center including Constitution Square ( Sydagma), the Parliament, the Monument to the Unknown Soldier, and the National Library. The tour continues along the street named after Herod Atticus, where it is possible to observe the Euzons and then reaches the Presidential Palace. On the way to the Acropolis we admire Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Jupiter and make a brief stop at the Panateinaiko Stadium, the site of the first Olympic Games (1896) of the modern era. Arriving at the Acropolis, the tour unfolds among the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens including: the Propolis, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and the Parthenon. The tour continues with a visit to the National Archaeological Museum, whose vast collection of treasures from antiquity makes it one of the most important National Museums in the world.
