Athens – Mykonos – Santorini – Crete – Athens
Greece has always fascinated the whole world for its beautiful Aegean sea, for the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean and for its cuisine. The “Jewels of the Aegean Sea”, a well-designed program offers the possibility to explore and discover the islands of Mykonos, Santorini and Crete and their most important archaeological sites and famous places.

Arrival at Athens International Airport and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is available. For the evening, we recommend visiting the old district of Plaka with its vibrant atmosphere: stroll through the narrow streets with various souvenir shops, cafes, old Greek tavernas and night life with live music. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Sunday: Athens – Mykonos
Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning with the possibility to participate in the optional tour of the city of Athens: Meeting with our professional English speaking guide for a panoramic tour of the city. You pass from the most important places in Athens, such as the Panathenaiko Stadium, cradle of the first Olympic Games that took place in 1896, continue to the residence of the Prime Minister, former Royal Palace (guarded by the famous guards of the ” Evzones ” in their traditional Greek costume) and the Zappeion Megaron. We proceed through the Roman Temple of Olympic Jupiter, the National Garden, the Arch of Hadrian, the Church of St. Paul, the Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the House of Schliemann (Numismatic Museum), the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Old Parliament, the Constitution Square (Syntagma), the Russian Orthodox Church. We then continue with the ascent to the Acropolis, the most recognized symbol of ancient Greece, one of the greatest cultural monuments in the world. At the Acropolis you will visit the temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon, the Erehtheion the loggia of the Caryatids, the Herodion and the Theater of Dionysus. Visit to the National Archaeological Museum, considered one of the richest museums in the world.
After midday transfer to the port of Rafina: Before embarking on the ferry to Mykonos possibility to have lunch (optional) in a typical tavern in Rafina. Upon arrival in Mykonos, I meet the port with the assistant who will take us to the hotel for overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day available to explore the beautiful Cycladic island individually or take part in one of our optional tours and activities. We offer you the walking tour of Mykonos town (morning or afternoon). Mykonos is a popular and famous destination worldwide, thanks to its cosmopolitan lifestyle and the variety of visitors it attracts. However, this beautiful island has much more to offer than its nightlife and popular “rich and famous” images. The traditional way of living in Mykonos is reflected in the city, where we offer you an authentic walking tour in places often little known by many of its visitors. We offer you an experience to remember all your life: experience first hand the true beauty of the city of Mykonos, covering its history and recalling some of its memories of the past. Overnight at the hotel.
Tuesday: Mykonos – Santorini
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning available to spend on the beautiful beaches or in the city of Mykonos with the beautiful alleys full of shops, cafes and restaurants until midday. After midday transfer to Mykonos port and board the fast ferry to Santorini. Alternatively, in the morning you can participate in one of our tours and optional activities such as a guided tour of the island of Delos, considered the most important site in the Mediterranean. Boarding the ship to the island with a visit to Delos: the ancient city, the Agora and the main square, the Temple of Apollo, the Sanctuary of Diana and the amphitheater up to the road of the Lions. After the visit, return to the port of Mykonos by boat and board the ferry to Santorini
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day available or to take part in one of our optional tours. Caldera cruise or full day tour of the island.
Transfer by bus to the port of Athinios, boarding the boat to the volcano (about 15-20 minutes, stop about 1 hour and 15 minutes). The walk up to the active craters is about 20 minutes along a walkable path. It is worthwhile to reach the top because when you get there, scratching the surface will come out of the steam that smells of sulfur.
After the visit of Nea Kameni, the boat continues to the islet of Palaia Kameni where the sulphurous hot springs are located.
The water temperature is 30-35 degrees, but is continuously mixed with sea water.
Here the boat stays for about 30 minutes to swim in the famous thermal baths rich in mud with healing power and beneficial for the skin. Continue by boat to the island of Thirassia free time (about 2 hours) to swim in the crystal clear waters of Korfos or eat in the traditional taverns tasting the various local dishes. You can go walking or donkey riding in the picturesque village of Manolas, which with its narrow streets and beautiful views of Santorini is worth a visit.
After a pleasant 2-hour break on the island of Thirassia, return to the old port by sailing along the volcanic cliffs of Oia for beautiful photos of this unique landscape. The boat from Thirassia goes to the traditional port of Armeni, from here you reach the village of Oia (on foot or in donkey). In OIA you can explore the traditional settlement, stroll through the narrow streets, admire the unique architecture that mixes large Venetian houses and small rock houses and of course admire the beautiful sunset famous all over the world. Return to the hotel by bus and overnight.
Thursday: Santorini – Heraklion
Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning available. In the afternoon transfer to the port of Santorini Athinios for boarding the ferry to the port of Heraklion, the capital of the island of Crete. Arrival in Heraklion transfer to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Friday: Heraklion – Athens
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure or to take part in the optional one-day excursion to Rethymno-Chania-Cnossos-Heraklion. Rethymno is a town that fascinates with its beauty decorated with renaissance colors and with the hospitality of its inhabitants and its tradition. The ancient center, full of small houses, the spectacular Fortress involve in a magical atmosphere.
Lunch and at the end continue to the city of Chania for a walk to the ancient Venetian port. Following the return towards Iraklion, we stop at the Palace of Cnossos for a guided tour of the place where the European civilization began, an area under the domination of King Minos and a place rich in myths and legends (Teseo-Minotauro-Labirinto). The years of its splendor were from 3ooo A.C. at 14oo A.C. The civilization suddenly disappeared until it was rediscovered in 1878 by Minos Kalokairinos, merchant and antiquarian of Crete. After Kalokairinos, many others tried to continue the work of rediscovering the site including Heinrich Schliemann but Sir Arthur Evans, an English gentleman was the only one able to bring his entire Palace back to light.
In the evening transfer to Heraklion port for boarding the ship for Piraeus, accommodation in the cabin inside the ship.
Arrival of the ship at Piraeus in the morning and transfer to hotel in the center of Athens for breakfast. Possibility to deposit luggage if you wish and, if the departure time of the return flight allows, to leave your suitcases and be free to go to the center of Athens to spend hours before transfer to the airport.
